There are secrets

Speaking to the hidden world
Whispering to phantoms all around us

There was magic
Magic in the wind
We had no fear of anything back then
Wait the year out for all hallows eve
It was our time
Our time
Painted for the spirit passage
Say the words and wake the dead

We are one
We've returned
To where spirits only speak to the young
Light the fires
We'll find our way
Can you hear the sirens calling us home
Ghosts of the abyss
They crowned us king
And turned us upside down

There's a monster
A monster at the door
If we shut our eyes it can't come in
But it's as real as hell, sing it a lullaby
Is this when the panic sets in
Cover every aching mirror
Just say the words and wake the dead

Blame is an easy exchange for the lost self
